We’re excited to announce that Top Quality Doors has been designated as an IDEA Accredited Door and Access Systems Company by the Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation.
IDEA is a non-profit organization created to ensure safety and high professional standards in the door and access systems industry. The IDEA’s accreditation is endorsed by the Door and Access Systems Manufacturers Association (DASMA) and the International Door Association (IDA).
The accreditation went into effect in July and is currently being held by fewer than 300 independent door dealers in the U.S. and Canada.
Candidates for this accreditation is earned through selling, installing and servicing a wide range of automated door and access systems which typically include residential and commercial garage doors, rolling steel doors, fire doors and retail grilles. These products require special knowledge and skills to ensure their dependability and safety.
A great deal of time and commitment went into this accreditation. Top Quality Doors had to demonstrate the ability to pass written exams covering Accounting and General Principles, Insurance and Legal, OSHA Compliance and Safety Management, Residential Technical Basics, Commercial Technical Basics as well as Sales and Marketing.
